It was just a fitting option for a weekend stopover in Yuba City with best value. I appreciated the clean bathroom and friendly staff during my stay. Just be aware that the pool was closed when I visited.

The Yuba City food scene is a bark of flavor, especially at Midtown Grill where the burgers are next-level! Hit up Antonio's Quick Lunch for a killer breakfast that’ll keep you fueled all day, and the front desk was super friendly, making check-in a breeze.
But the vibe outside was sketchy. I was greeted by a naked dude in a dumpster! The room felt grimy and unsafe, with questionable cleanliness—it was like I needed a hazmat suit just to settle in. A little TLC would go a long way!

great access to parks and local attractions for city walkers
I had a fantastic stay here, especially enjoying the easy stroll to Ellis Lake, which was just a short walk away, and the convenience of being close to the Mary Aaron Memorial Museum, where I spent some lovely time exploring the exhibits.

I gotta say, the breakfast was solid, really hit the spot for us. Nice variety to start the day, and the staff were put together, particularly the guy in the kitchen, Bryan—very professional, funny too.
It could be pricey but honestly, not bad for what you get.

missingWrote a review on Nov 03spacious layoutmini-fridgepoor signage
The layout of the Superior King Room felt spacious, providing ample room to move around comfortably. The mini-fridge, though turned off between stays, added a nice touch for keeping snacks cool and fresh during the visit.
Finding the hotel was a real challenge due to a lack of clear signs and directions, especially regarding the lobby entrance. The lobby area could use a makeover. it felt sterile with its all-white aesthetic, missing any cozy elements like a gas fireplace or plants. The furnishings appeared tired. the wallpaper showed wear, and the bathroom felt neglected with a tub that needed repairs. I encountered serious plumbing issues. the toilet seat didn't fit properly, and an odd extra sink sprayed water everywhere. The noise from the AC was loud, and the fitted bed sheet looked suspiciously like it was just flipped inside out. Not to mention, the pool area—closed off entirely during my stay—looked like it hadn’t been maintained in ages with visible signs of disrepair.

Yuba City has some hidden gems! The burgers at Midtown Grill were nothing short of awesome, and Antonio's Quick Lunch served up a breakfast that really hit the spot. The front desk staff were friendly too, making check-in easy peasy.
But let's be real, my room was a flop. Housekeeping was MIA, there were no towels, and my toilet was on strike! The breakfast was a bust—just carbs and no real sustenance. Not ideal for starting the day right.

great spot for a quick stay
Had a pretty good time here! The room was comfy and clean, and I appreciated the friendly staff. They even had the usual amenities like a coffee maker and mini fridge, which was nice. The location is super easy to get to, but I didn't like that it wasn’t gated. Made me feel a bit uneasy with random people around.

Had a great time with friends! The area around provided stunning views of the river, and we explored some nice spots together. Check-in was smooth, and the rooms were spacious enough for everyone. The breakfast exceeded my expectations, featuring a variety of good options to choose from.
We did face an issue with noise, as the walls felt thin, which made it challenging to get a good night's sleep during our stay.
